Position Overview
The Workplace Manager will be based out of Autodesk's Portland office and responsible for making sure the assigned site(s) meet world class high company standards for organization, cleanliness, aesthetics and sustainable operations. You will proactively coordinate all day-to-day workplace operations, working directly with employees and cross functional stakeholders. You will serve as liaison for any building maintenance needs and manage a team of Workplace Coordinators.

Responsibilities
- Manage Workplace Operations & Experiences at multiple Autodesk locations ensuring operational excellence and best in class services to Autodesk employees and guests
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Workplace Coordinators who are responsible for the day-to-day workplace experience and operations. Prioritize and assign workload and manage resources
- Maintain a high level of collaboration and coordination with other managers within the organization including Meetings & Events, Engineering services and AV support
- Manage BIM 360 Ops ticketing tool for all incoming tickets, determining the nature of the problem(s) and assign the request to internal staff for completion
- Develop and maintain great working relationships with landlord and property management representatives and external service vendors
- Have a keen knowledge of building management's policies and procedures
- Manage building vendors, janitors, and maintenance staff. Provide oversight and support to customer functions and events as needed
- Collaborate regularly with department managers and executive admins to build strong relationships, understand needs and proactively resolve challenges that may arise
- Ensure performance of facilities maintenance inspections of public and common areas, by making sure "walk-throughs" are done, and there is compliance with local health and safety regulations. Model company safety policies and participate in Emergency Response Team efforts
- Responsible for communicating to employees regarding building issues, news, and/or updates
- Develop and maintain standards and processes in support of workplace operations and experiences
- Work with EH&H and Safety and Security on all relevant issues
- Establish and manage facilities budget and report financial information. Provide metrics as requested
- Maintain professional appearance of all spaces. Manage Green Cleaning and Recycling programs through vendor relationships
- Maintain current knowledge base of Company products and information by staying informed of Company news, announcements, and new product releases
- Expected to coordinate special projects and departmental activities and meetings. May serve on cross-functional teams or local site committees
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in facilities or building management fields
- Minimum of 3 years supervision/management experience
- Technical experience with building control systems, environmental systems and audio/visual preferred
- Experience with vendor management and the implementation of the corporate safety program
- Must be able to create and manage site operating expense and capital expense budgets
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems, subcontract management, life safety management skills, energy management and the development of standardized operating procedures are a plus
- Excellent oral and written skills and proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications is required
- Must be willing to travel up to 25%
