The Opportunity

The Workplace Data Manager oversees the development and use of data systems, ensuring effective data management, secure procedures, and data analysis for the Real Estate and Workplace (REW) teams to make calculated decisions. The Data Manager is a professional with excellent data analytics, and organizational skills. Must be detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize competing tasks, manage differing needs of the business, and be able to adapt easily to change.

Facilities at Nutanix

The Workplace Data Manager would be a part of the Real Estate and Workplace (REW) teams at Nutanix. This team is responsible for managing the company's global office spaces and ensuring their efficient and effective use. The REW teams work closely with various departments within Nutanix, including Facilities, IT, and HR, to support the workplace needs of the employees. This role would collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to ensure accurate data management, implement process improvements, and make data-driven decisions to optimize space planning and utilization.

Your Role

CAFM (Computer Aided Facilities Management System) - Serraview

• Create and manage a process with global Facilities coordinators and Managers to maintain the most current floor plans and occupancy information in Serraview
• Manage quarterly space audits throughout Nutanix Global offices.
• Identify process improvements within Serraview and help implement.
• Have the ability to run space reports for specific needs. Work with Serraview team to create custom reports for REW team.

Workplace App - CXApp

• Lead the rollout and management of NuWork Experience App, a new desk reservation system to 48 cities and 76 floors of Nutanix office space worldwide. This includes verification of data, roll out and training of the app. May require some travel.
• Help identify system improvements and work with CXApp and IT teams to implement.

Analytics Tool - Tableau

• Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics to help support key business decisions.
• Oversee the data/report requests process: tracking requests submitted, prioritization, approval, etc.
• Create monthly Headcount and utilization reports based on said data in tool.
• Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities and recommend ideal space planning scenarios based on this data and business objectives.

Other Responsibilities:

• Help create space planning and change management policies and implement.
• Manage day-to-day organizational space assignments.
• Help create and maintain the Space Planning and Design website and its related content.
• Identify and recognize potential problems with systems in place, escalating to Planning Director as needed.
• Review New Hire process regularly and make recommendations for process improvements as necessary to improve customer experience.
• Comply with all Nutanix policies and procedures, including but not limited to time & expenses, ethics, and business practice.

What You Will Bring

• 5-7 years of experience in occupancy planning, data managements, CAD/CAFM Systems
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and provide a solution.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with architectural drawings and furniture and space planning concepts.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and ability to use Microsoft Office and Google Apps
• AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task while working both in a team and independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with executive level internal & external clients.
• A flexible and adaptable self-starter with strong customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize and complete tasks with little to no supervision.

This role will report into the Director of Global Space Planning and Design, Sogol Mohsenzadegan. She has an Interior Design background and started her career as a Facilities Coordinator 15 years ago. With extensive knowledge of design and occupancy planning, and a focus on employee experience, Sogol is looking for a positive, detail-oriented, tech-savvy and data-driven individual to join her small but mighty team. Sogol's team supports Facilities teams worldwide, and this individual will play an important role in providing accurate data that impact major real estate decisions throughout Nutanix offices.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $83,840 and USD $168,120.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
