Position Overview: The proposal writer creates and develops proposals, responses to RFPs, and client presentations that tell the story and position us for success with current and prospective clients. The proposal writer collaborates and builds relationships with sales leads and a cross-functional proposal team to develop proposals and materials to support RFP responses. The writer has the ability to work independently and effectively in an agile environment that promotes teamwork and frequent collaboration with cross-functional proposal team members.

Attention to detail is critical, as are time management and the ability to manage competing priorities. The writer produces high quality work by deadline and adheres to established content standards, policies, processes, and workflows. Performs other duties as needed.

Requirements

Key activities performed by the Proposal Writer will include:

• Proposal Writing - Creating and developing proposals, RFP responses, and client presentations that tell our story and position us for success with current and prospective clients
• Proofreading - Reviewing one's own work and the work of others for compliance with RFP requirements, accuracy, readability, and to ensure proposed solutions align with clients' specific needs
• Content Development - Developing and maintaining a library of standard language to implement across proposals and other client-facing materials
• Storytelling - Creative writing, content design, and the ability to translate strategy into effective storytelling
• Brand Stewardship - Managing and adhering to brand standards
• Editing
• Proofreading

Minimum Education and/or Experience Required: The Writer requires a Bachelor's degree in journalism, mass communications, or related field.
