Ideal candidates:

Native English writers with experience writing about Japan, and ideally based in Japan.

Impeccable grammar and a keen eye for detail.

A strong understanding of Japanese culture.

A proven track record of producing high-quality written work.

Responsible, reliable, and able to meet deadlines.

Familiar with The Chicago Manual of Style.

Fluency in spoken and written Japanese is desirable, but not essential.
