Title:

XML Specialist

KBR is in need of an XML Specialist to research, organize, write, edit and produce data for use in a wide variety of complex technical publications requiring in-depth knowledge and understanding of the subject matter and allied fields.

Duties include:

• Recommending overall organization and layout, editorial standards, publication methods and the like.
• Coordinating publication with vendors and DoD sources as needed.
• Developing department editing standards and styles.
• Will be expected to ensure conformity of page base and Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) with MIL-STD 40051, MIL-HDBK 1222 and MIL-PRF 63002.
• Creating compliant hardware, software, and airframe Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs), Technical Manuals (TMs) and Modification Work Orders (MWOs) from commercial data and other DoD sources to include technical drawings and logistics data bases.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in an applicable technical field (experience may be used in lieu of degree)
• 2-4 years of applicable experience
• candidate must have a Secret Security Clearance
