Benefits include: • Do not apply unless you have an active Class A license • 11 Paid Holidays yearly • Yearly pay raises • Increase your pay by moving up and learning new positions • 100 % FREE Medical Insurance • 100 % FREE Dental Insurance • 100 % FREE Life Insurance • 100 % FREE Vision Insurance • 401K Match • FREE Work Shoes • FREE Hearing test Role and Responsibilities · Driving the yard goat and trailers as well as emptying/ filling trailers with attention to safe traffic flow. · Administer inspections on the yard and all yard equipment to verify safe operating conditions and cleanliness. · Ensure equipment is fueled and prepared for the road. · Maintain compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act (FMSCA) and Department of Transportation (DOT). · Productively work in a fast paced environment around forklifts and large production machines. · Help in other positions and areas as needed · Report to the Shipping Supervisor Requirements · Class A License · Able to stand for extended periods (Up to 3 hours between breaks) · Able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly during shift · Able to work 12 hour shifts · Able to work any shift · Be able to read a tape measure (down to 1/16th of an inch) · Be able to read and understand work instruction in English Qualifications and Education Requirements · High School Diploma/ GED · Must have and maintain a valid California Commercial Driver’s License · Class A License · Maintain three (3) years of clean driving record. · Six months to one year spotter or driver experience. · Must be able to demonstrate basic spotter knowledge and functions.
