The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is announcing open positions for FAA authorized Information Technology Specialists (2210) for U.S. Citizens. These positions are part of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act 2021 and will be filled within the Assistant Administrator for Communications (AOC). The roles require U.S. Citizenship, Selective Service Registration for males born after 12/31/1959, successful completion of a security investigation, and a one-year probationary period. Qualifications include IT-related experience demonstrating four competencies: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Communication, and Problem Solving. Specialized experience is required for higher levels, with FV-K requiring experience advising other IT experts on various situations and issues.
