They recommend courses of action to support FHFA's mission of ensuring a safe and sound mortgage finance system. The role requires a one-year probationary period, successful completion of a background investigation, and adherence to conditions of employment. Specialized experience is required for different levels (EL-13, EL-12, EL-11, EL-09), involving assisting senior staff, conducting audits, and participating in vulnerability assessments. Proficiency in four competencies (Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, Problem Solving) is also required. Education can be substituted for experience under certain conditions.
