Walden University is currently seeking faculty members for the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. The program is based on the scholar-practitioner model, culturally relevant pedagogy, academic and experiential learning, and developmental instruction. The M.S. in Mental Health Counseling program is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). New faculty members receive specific training in online teaching techniques, use of an electronic learning platform, and policies and procedures. They are expected to be in the classroom a minimum of 4 days per week and respond to student questions within 48 hours. Some travel may be required for residencies and pre-practica.
