The role involves managing complex litigation, prelitigation, and regulatory matters, collaborating with various teams, and overseeing case files from start to finish. Essential duties include overseeing litigation cases, researching customer accounts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, assisting with investigations, managing responses to regulatory agencies, handling subrogation claims, drafting responses to attorney demand letters, maintaining organized litigation files, liaising with outside counsel, administering litigation holds, managing registered agent services, coordinating mail distribution, preserving and organizing case files, supporting attorneys in preparing witnesses, generating reports on litigation trends, interfacing with business units, monitoring court deadlines, submitting data requests, responding to subpoenas, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications include strong knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and documentation, skilled in using legal research databases and case management software, exceptional attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, proven ability to evaluate regulatory and compliance risks, familiarity with Six Sigma and Lean Enterprise methodologies, strong analytical skills, familiarity with the residential solar industry, prior involvement in the residential solar industry is preferred, demonstrated ability to develop and motivate teams, sound business judgment, capacity to collaborate effectively with all organizational levels, ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment, proficient in Google Workspace products, positive enthusiastic attitude, and legal authorization to work in the United States. The role requires regular speaking, listening, standing, walking, using hands, and reaching, occasionally lifting and moving objects up to 40 pounds, and focusing at close and long distances. The base salary is $60,000-$65,000 USD.
