This is a tenure track position for an Assistant/Associate Professor in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at AFIT's Graduate School of Engineering and Management. The incumbent must maintain current certifications and may be subject to a one-year trial period. A Doctorate degree in Astronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field is required, with emphasis in controls and/or spacecraft design and/or astronautics. Applicants must demonstrate professional knowledge, potential for strong publication and funding effort, and clear communication skills in English.
