The successful candidate will oversee patients on inpatient Breast, Gastrointestinal, and Genitourinary medicine teams, collaborating with multiple physicians and healthcare team members. They will deliver comprehensive care to inpatient GU patients, including clinical trial phase 1 patients, and participate in patient education and clinical support programs. The ideal candidate should be a good decision-maker, effective communicator, adaptable, and comfortable with diverse groups of people. Qualifications include a current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations, Master’s degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges, and at least 2+ years of clinical RN with inpatient medical oncology experience for NP candidates. For PA candidates, a graduate from an accredited PA program, NCCPA certification, and an active NYS license or qualification for state licensure are required.
