The division is involved in state-wide efforts to improve maternal morbidity and mortality and address health care disparities. The department offers a diverse work environment including inpatient and outpatient perinatal consultations, management of high-risk pregnancies, perinatal diagnosis, and ultrasound. The division plans to reapply for a fetal medicine fellowship and has built a new Fetal Home facility.
