The position is approximately 90% Hematology and 10% Oncology. The practice involves joining nine other Hematology/Oncology physicians in a community-based model. The Stanford Cancer Center South Bay offers a wide range of cancer services, including medical oncology, breast cancer, hematologic cancer, lung and thoracic, endocrine tumor, GI cancer, radiation oncology, sarcoma, gynecologic cancer, head and neck cancer, and urologic cancer treatment options. The practice includes an on-site infusion center, lab with advanced imaging, radiation therapy center, and surgery center for close multi-disciplinary collaboration. Physicians see an average of 18-25 patients per day in clinic and have Q9 rotating coverage of inpatient consultation services at three local hospitals. The practice offers a collaborative and collegial environment, with a generous benefits package, including retirement, profit sharing, and more.
