The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Senior Project Leader for the Navigation and Geopositioning Systems Department. The role involves leading and directing position, navigation, and timing (PNT) force design activities for the Space Warfighting Analysis Center and Space Security and Defense Program customers. The position requires technical leadership and experience in areas such as mission design, satellite navigation, rendezvous and proximity operations, Cislunar studies, autonomous navigation, and space domain awareness. The successful candidate will provide leadership toward the growth of department goals, strategic vision, and direct support to NSS and Civil/Commercial programs. They will also provide technical mentorship of junior staff and customer personnel, advise key stakeholders and government customers, and conduct technical deep dives, trade studies, and assessments. The role requires proficiency in programming languages/tools such as C, C++, Python, Fortran, MATLAB, Java, and effective written and verbal communication skills. U.S citizenship is required due to the need to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
