Northrop Grumman is seeking a Network Monitoring Technician 2/3 for the Ground Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Systems Integration Test and Readiness (SITR) program at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs. The role involves supporting the 24x7 operations of the GMD Fire Control (GFC) and GMD Communications Network (GCN) component of the GMD system. Key responsibilities include executing system startup, configuration, monitoring, health & status reporting, and initial troubleshooting. The technician will also operate, monitor, and manage the end-to-end performance of the GMD Communications Network Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN). Familiarity with SolarWinds and other network management tools is required. Basic Qualifications include a DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher, an active DoD Secret clearance, and the ability to work rotating 24x7 shift work on a 365-day work schedule.
