Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. Duties You will work around tools and equipment requiring care and attention to safety practices. You will load and unload heavy boxes, bulky supplies, and materials to and from trucks, dollies, etc. You will perform other routine maintenance work such as shoveling, moving and arranging furniture collecting and disposing of trash, cleaning interior and exterior buildings and similar tasks. Requirements Conditions of employment Must be a US Citizen. Must be determined suitable for federal employment. Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate: Ability To do the common or complex tasks: Have the ability to operate with dexterity and safety, ability to use and maintain tools, instruments, and related equipment as appropriate. Ability to follow oral directions which vary from task to task. Ability to carry out instructions involving simple tasks or decisions. Recognizing by name basic machines and tools, standard shapes and type of stock Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education This job does not have an education qualification requirement. Additional information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
