Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Duties You will communication clearly and confidently present information to diverse audiences, including senior leadership, is crucial for briefing on operational activities and emergent changes. You will collaborate and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, to include military personnel, government civilians, and contractor staff with varying levels of expertise, to facilitate production operations and resolve conflicts. You will provide production management and coordination within a complex environment by establishing priorities, de-conflicting interference, and utilizing detailed schedules to organize activities across a large facility. You will manage or coordinate facility maintenance with the planning and coordination of facility maintenance activities, including an understanding of potential impacts on production schedules. You will provide experience in recurring processing, repair, transportation, storage, and transfer of products using multiple production and transportation methods to develop information for scheduling and control. You will process complex missiles, missile components, launcher support equipment, and for coordinating a variety of complex, long term facility modifications and new production capability activations. Requirements Conditions of employment Must be a US Citizen. Must be determined suitable for federal employment. Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment. You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal. MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance. Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing. This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NJ-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: following technical data related to safety and security protocols for ordnance movement, storage, processing, test, and inspection. Experience with missile production, processing, repair, transportation, storage, and transfer of products using multiple production and transportation methods. Education This job does not have an education qualification requirement. Additional information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. This position is part of the Navy Nuclear Deterrent Mission. This announcement uses the Defense Industrial Base, Major Range and Test Facilities direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service. This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required. Several vacancies may be filled.
