Custodial Worker - Unaccompanied Housing

Summary This position is located aboard NAS Whidbey Island with Unaccompanied Housing. The purpose of this position is to provide adequate and timely custodial services to the lodging operation. This position involves work on workdays and may involve weekends, and holidays, as well as rotating shifts. Physical exertion is involved in standing and walking for long periods, some bending, stooping and lifting is required. Position requires a constant vigilance to ensure maximum security for UH residents and employees in and around the facility. Possess valid driver’s license as travel to other facilities within normal scope of duties may be required. Qualifications Must have general knowledge of cleaning procedures, cleaning equipment, commonly used chemicals (including SDS) and basic safety is required. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing with management, staff and guests. Education There is no educational requirement for this position.
