ARSIEM is looking for a Junior Java Developer. This position will support one of our government clients in Ft. Meade, MD.

Responsibilities

• Provide development, test, integration, documentation, and deployment support for analytics as determined by the customer.
• Utilize sound software development practices to include designing, using, and creating reusable software solutions, using designated code configuration management, and performing complete unit and integration testing.
• Assist with writing articles to describe analytic details, data, and classifications, as well as “How To" articles for developed tradecraft.
• Collaborate with other development and sustainment efforts.
• Support analytic compliance reviews.

Minimum Qualifications

• A Master's degree plus 0-years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree plus 2-years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 4-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 6 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that are related to the position
• Computer Science (CS) degree or related field
• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Experience with Java
• Experience with Hadoop MapReduce
• Experience with Git/GitLab
• Development in a Linux environment
• Comfortable working with a team and stakeholders to determine requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of AGILE methodologies
• GHOSTMACHINE analytic development
• Experience with Query Time Analytics
• Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence

Clearance Requirement: This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.
