Job Description

Summary This position is located at Hunter Bingo, 135 Duncan Drive, BLDG 6015, Hunter Army Airfield, GA. Bingo Hours are as follows: Monday 4:00 PM to End of Last Game Thursday 4:00 PM to End of Last Game Friday 4:00 PM to End of Last Game Saturday 3:00 PM to End of Last Game Sunday 3:00 PM to End of Last Game Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Duties Demonstrates and sells merchandise directly to customers when technical knowledge of the product is required. Decorates display areas; develops proposals for displaying merchandise including materials. Plans and conducts recurring patron activities such as bingo tournaments, and related activities. Assist patrons in the use of the facilities. Provides safety instruction and demonstrates use of the equipment used for the gaming environment. Circulates among patrons and receives and resolves customer complaints. Carries out a specialized programs for bingo players. Demonstrates new techniques. Teaches and plans related functions. Assist with and operates the gaming equipment that randomly selects the numbers. Assist patrons with the use of the electronic computers and paper game cards for bingo. Verifies the bingo winners by computer input and/or review of paper cards. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of employment Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one-year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation. Qualifications Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Six (6) months to two (2) years work experience with bingo gaming equipment and programs as related to the duties described above. Work experience in a customer service focused environment. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Have knowledge and experience in bingo calling, a point of sale (POS) system, and technical knowledge of bingo systems. Education This job does not have an education qualification requirement. Additional information Area of Consideration This job is open to candidates who are located in the local commuting area. (Within a 50-mile radius of Fort Stewart/Hunter Army Airfield, GA) (Military Spouse Preference (MSP) and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) eligible candidates are included in the area of consideration.) Allowances and Differentials This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
