Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. Duties You will receive and process complaints and related investigations concerning residents to leadership. You will participate in regular or periodic deficiency reviews, assembles facts, evaluates information, prepares draft reports and answers to correspondence. You will process requests for permanent and temporary quarters. You will counsel applicants regarding the availability, type, and size of quarters. You will conduct joint tenant-management walk-throughs of quarters to evaluate the cleanliness, maintenance, and habitability of the unit, furnishings, equipment, and facilities. You will schedule and coordinate the maintenance, repair, or other work required and conduct follow-up inspections to verify that discrepancies are corrected. Requirements Conditions of employment Must be a US Citizen. Must be determined suitable for federal employment. Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service. You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases. This position may require travel not to exceed 10% from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector planning, organizing, and performing work required to ensure proper customer service; processing and reviewing customer's applications for accuracy and completeness; AND scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring activities related to the operation. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education In lieu of experience listed in the Qualifications section, applicants may qualify based on education or equivalent combination of education and experience, as follows: 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree OR A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent. Additional information The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Offers of employment related to this vacancy announcement will not be executed until the position has an approved exemption. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees. A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized. This position is eligible for ad-hoc/situational telework at the discretion of management. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
