We're currently seeking a passionate and skilled 2nd Shift Metal Stamping Operator/Die Setterto join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality, engineered solutions to our customers worldwide. In this role you will be responsible for operating machines, to produce parts conforming to specifications. Responsibilities • Must follow all company safety protocols. • Perform blanking, piercing, forming and drawing operations on a variety of parts. • Inspect work pieces for conformance to specifications, using micrometer or other measuring instruments to verify workmanship standards. • Perform in process inspection, following control plan and record results. • Document all required production data and prepare product for next step • Other duties as deemed necessaryRequirements: • Basic Knowledge of smart pack • Ability to read blueprint and production procedures/instructions. • Mechanical aptitude; interest in the responsible proper use of equipment in a safe manner • Must be dependable, reliable and able to work well on a team • 2+ year experience • Ability to work overtime as needed • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours/day This position is at ourElk Grove Village, ILlocation.
