Job Description
Summary
This position is located at the Physical Fitness Facilities. The facility shift hours will be between 0430 and 2030 Monday through Friday and 0730-1830 on weekends and various holidays, weekend hours will vary when there is a special event .
Incentives and Bonuses
Incentives will not be paid.
Duties
Issues tools, equipment and games to authorized customers.
Checks identification, collects fees when appropriate, and completes appropriate documentation.
Receives returned items, inspecting for obvious damage and missing parts.
Checks inventories and supplies.
Provides facility and program information to patrons.
Requirements
Conditions of employment
Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
A one-year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Must attend Team Member Orientation within the first thirty (30) days of employment.
Must be available to work rotating shifts,
Must be willing to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Lifting up to 40lbs, bending, kneeling, stooping and moving exercise equipment.
Qualifications
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.
A qualified candidate must possess the following:
No experience required.
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":
-Possess at least three (3) months work experience
OR
-Possess three (3) months volunteer experience providing customer service.

To be evaluated as a best qualified candidate, your resume MUST clearly reflect the knowledge and experience listed under the best qualified criteria above. This job is open to candidates who The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is the local commuting area (U.S. Citizens and Non U.S. Citizens that live within 50 miles of Ft. Rucker, AL). Military Spouse Preference (MSP) and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) eligible candidates are included in the area of consideration.

PCS Costs
Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
Allowances and Differentials
This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
