Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to a Sports/indoor/Outdoor activity. This is a Flexible position, with weekly hours ranging from 0-40. Must have valid driver's license and good driving record. This position has been identified as a Test Designated Position (TDP). The incumbent of this position will be subject to and must consent to a pre-employment and random drug testing. The incumbent must be able to work a shift schedule that may include weekends and holidays. Qualifications Who May Apply: Open to everyone. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Experience demonstrating a working familiarity with the routines and procedures followed in group activities or programs; and practical knowledge and/or experience of recreational activities and equipment, rules and procedures in a recreation program activity which has involved recreation work in the area of specialty in which the position is assigned; ability and skill in dealing with the public. Conditions of Employment: Successful completion and favorable adjudication of applicable background investigation (Tier 1Level) is required. Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license. This is a Test Designated Position. The incumbent of this position will be subject to and must consent to a pre-employment and random drug testing. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying. Additional information Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
