Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to the Hubbard Golf Course at Hill AFB, UT. This is a Flexible position, with weekly hours ranging from 0-40. Recruitment and Retention Incentives may be authorized. Requirements Conditions of Employment This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results. The incumbent must be able to work a shift schedule that may include weekends and holidays. Satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical is required. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Practical knowledge of recreational activities, rules, and procedures; however, no experience is required. Knowledge of the etiquette and rules of golf is desirable but not required. Must be able to physically lift of to 40 pounds. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Must be able to work irregular shifts to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier I background check. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying. Additional information Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
