Qualifications You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience: For the GS-15, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: - Identifying vulnerabilities, providing recommendations for remediation, and planning the implementation of those solutions; AND - Implementing, leading, and overseeing a cybersecurity risk management strategy for an organization; AND - Experience carrying out efforts regarding staffing and training to develop employees; AND - Providing risk oversight of existing applications, services or processes; AND - Providing system security guidance and solutions to business units relating to current and emerging cyber threats. Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
