Summary This position is located at the historic Hacienda, Fort Hunter Liggett, CA. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. This position will have a first cut off of December 29, 2025, and applicants that submit a complete application packet prior to that date and found eligible may be given first consideration. Duties Makes reservations for incoming guests based on room availability, and interviews incoming guests to determine rooms assignment. Assists clientele in the completion of required forms and registration cards. Answers questions pertaining to rules and regulations governing the assignment and use of quarters; issues room keys. Provides statement of non-availability when applicable. Posts registration information on the registration card. Orients guests concerning use of facilities and equipment, and other facilities available on post. Assists or arranges transportation. Computes charges for guests checking out, receives payments and room keys, renders receipts. Answers billing questions and concerns. Accounts for and secures cash at the end of shift. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of employment Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/Tier 1 background requirements for this position. A one-year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. May be required to stand for long period of time. Duties may involve working both indoors and outdoors. Operation is 7-days a week. Schedule will be based on the needs of the facility. Subject to an irregular tour of duty including early mornings and evenings, weekends and holidays are required Qualifications Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide at the level necessary to complete required reports and use a computer for work processing or data entry. Good verbal communication and customer service skills. One-year hotel front desk experience is preferred. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Possess a minimum of six (6) months clerical work experience Education This job does not have an education qualification requirement. Allowances and Differentials This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
