Summary As the Supervisory Administrative Officer (AO), the incumbent shall oversee the delivery of effective administrative, logistical, and all other support services to ensure adequate support is provided for EAC's operations in accordance with USG regulations and EAC policies. This position is subject to a (1) year probationary period. The Supervisory Admin Officer is expected to be in the office 4-5 days p/week. Additional Requirement: To qualify for this position, you must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal Service or comparable experience gained outside of Federal Service. You must demonstrate the ability to perform at the GS-13 level. Qualifications GENERAL COMPETENCIES Interpersonal Effectiveness: Skill in responding appropriately to a diversity of groups and individuals in a variety of challenging situations. Customer Service: Demonstrates a commitment to public service; serves and satisfies internal and external customers; holds self-accountable for quality outcomes. Teamwork: Works with and helps others to accomplish objectives. Familiarity with Federal regulations. Ensure that the work and contractor oversight comply with federal laws, regulations, and agency-specific policies (e.g., safety regulations, environmental standards), and contract management processes. TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES Expert knowledge of Federal administration practices relative to Agency operations. Expert knowledge of Federal travel regulations as required to facilitate the travel process. Knowledge of analytical and evaluative methodology to gather data and make in-depth evaluation and analyses of situations, issues, and programs; possess skills to recommend solutions that are unique and outside the scope of current practices and guidelines as needed. Knowledge of capabilities and limitations of various software packages (e.g., Microsoft Windows, SharePoint, Calendar, Microsoft Word, Access database management, PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel) to create and revise a wide range of documents, automated records, databases, and slides.
