In joining TeamHealth, you become part of one of our nation's leading healthcare organizations that specializes in hospitalist medicine, emergency medicine and specialty medicine.About the Role:10-bed ED facility with 15,000 annual volumesAdvanced practice provider (APP) and specialty coverageLevel IV facility with 10% admittance and 6% transfer rateEMR: Cerner with dragonKey Responsibilities:Provide direct patient care in the emergency department under the supervision of ED physiciansOversee clinical care, ensuring patients receive high-quality, compassionate treatmentLead and collaborate with the medical team, including physicians, nurses, and other clinical staffPotentially take on some leadership and supervisory duties (prior leadership experience is not mandatory, it is ideal)Work with an experienced, cohesive team to manage the EDs annual case loadRequired Qualifications:Two years of post-graduate experience as a PA or FNP in emergency medicineAbility to work independently and make quick, informed decisions in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Qualifications:Previous leadership or supervisory experienceExcellent communication skills to interact effectively with medical staff, patients, and familiesWe welcome the opportunity to share more information with you and learn about what you seek in a position.
