You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must be 21 years of age, and be able to speak, read, and write English. Must have responsible experience which provides a general knowledge of restaurant and bar operations, or a minimum of four years of progressive experience, which provides a thorough knowledge of all duties described above in marketing, special events planning, food and beverage management, or closely related profession. Must have the knowledge of theories, practices, techniques of business practices and concepts as related to special events/entertainment programs. Preferred to have experience or training in computer applications such as office automation software, and is required to be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook. Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Knowledge _of time management, Food-trak, and Aloha Systems are desired. First-class customer service skills are required. Successful completion of an installation records and National Agency Check w/inquiries Tier 1 level) is required You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.
