Physician – Infectious Disease

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Infectious Disease Physician for our Slidell campus. This position is a combined hospital and clinic-based practice, including inpatient. The ideal candidate will be trained in epidemiology and infection prevention and control.

Position Highlights:

• Shared call rotation - no more than 17 weekends out the year.
• You would be joining a practice with 2 other physicians and 1 APP as well as support staff in the clinics such as MAs and LPNs.
• Inpatient side would be hospital rounding heavy every other week, then the opposite weeks you would do some light rounding and mainly do outpatient visits.
• High volume practice.
