Summary This position is located at Eisenhower Hall. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Duties Assists management with the operation of facility in accordance with established procedures. Issues, receives and controls cash receipts and change funds; verifies cash count of funds turned in by cashiers. Determines cash shortage or overages. Assures only authorized patrons utilize the facilities. Submits daily report of operations. Assists in setting up parties according to party plan. May assist bartenders in setting up bars and/or cashier's bag. Completes Daily Activity Report. Completes fire safety checks and secures the facility. May monitor inventories, place and receive food and beverage orders using food and beverage software. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of employment Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one-year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Must be willing to accept a varying or rotating shift to include nights, weekends and holidays. Medical Examination is required. May be required to lift and carry up to 20 pounds This position is Weather Essential. Qualifications Resumes must be two pages (or less). Work experience with progressively responsible duties in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, custody or other processing of cash items (cash items are currency, coins, checks, money orders and credit card receipts). 2. Applicant must meet state/local age requirements (18 years of age) for the serving of alcoholic beverages at the time of appointment. 3. Skill in providing customer service. 4. Ability to communicate effectively. This experience must be reflected on your resume to be considered eligible for this position. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": 1. Knowledge of setting up bars. The knowledge must be reflected on your resume to be considered a highly preferred candidate. Applicants meeting the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred first to the Selecting Official.
