Summary
This position is located at the DCA Cadet Social Development/Cadet Hostess Office.
Incentives and Bonuses

Duties
Actively participates in the management of the activity or organization by performing a wide variety of clerical and administrative support duties.
Serves as the central point of contact for matters related to day-to-day operations.
Applies knowledge of the organization, its functions and regulations to carry out a wide variety of administrative functions related to the organization and its mission (e.g., personnel, accounting, purchasing, logistics and supply, etc).
Composes operating procedures and sets internal priorities to generate improvements in administrative services.
Performs other duties related to office automation requiring a skill in general office machines, software, and the internet/intranet.

Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
A one-year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
This position is Weather Essential.
Medical examination is required.
Must be willing to accept varying and/or rotating shifts to include weekdays and some weekends (special events most often occurring on Saturday's).

1. One (1) year of experience directly related to administrative support assistant duties. For example, using computers, general office machines, software, and the internet/intranet to carry out administrative functions (e.g. personnel, logistics, supply, accounting, budget, transportation and purchasing).
This experience must be reflected on your resume to be considered eligible for this position.
2. Ability to type 40 words per minute.

Area of Consideration
The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is for US Citizens and Non-Citizens within 50 miles of West Point, NY. (Military Spouse Preference (MSP) and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) eligible candidates are included in the area of consideration.)

If applying manually, all completed manual application forms (along with resume and other supporting documentation) must be delivered to the West Point NAF Civilian Personnel Advisory Center (CPAC) located at: 681 Rogers Place Room G-10 West Point, New York 10996 Monday thru Friday (not open on Federal Holidays) between the hours of 8:30a.m. and 3:00p.m. and NO LATER THAN 3:00p.m. on the closing date of the announcement.
**Please note, that West Point has a restricted access policy and any person who chooses to personally deliver an application to the CPAC should bring along at least one photo identification and report to the West Point Visitor Center at least 30 minutes prior to attempting to visit the CPAC

PCS Costs
Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
Allowances and Differentials
This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
