Summary This position is located at McCoy's, the central hub of activity at Fort McCoy, WI. This large facility includes Dining, Sports Bar, Bowling Center, Recreation and Leisure Activities and Conference and Catering Spaces. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Duties Manages a business activity as an assistant manager. Supervises assigned staff. Recommends and enforces operating procedures. Represents the activity to the public. Conducts surveys, reviews activity reports and makes recommendations concerning services, promotional activities and revenue improvements. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of employment Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position to include a physical and Supervisor of Minor Checks. A one-year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Must possess a valid driver's license to operate a government vehicle to make bank runs and for outdoor events. Duties may involve working both indoors and outdoors. Uniform and name tags are provided and are required. Operation is 7 days a week. Incumbent will be required to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Shift may vary due to mission. Qualifications Resumes must be two pages (or less). A qualified candidate must possess the following: Work experience or education directly related to the duties to be performed. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": A minimum of six (6) months supervisory experience Cash handling experience Food service experience Education This job does not have an education qualification requirement. In accordance with the Fort McCoy Collective Bargaining Unit Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay are not authorized Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
