Duties The United States Space Force (USSF) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH is searching for an Indo-Pacific Future Technologies Team Lead for the NSIC (GG-0132-13). Description: This is an all-source intelligence analysis Team Lead position in the 3rd Intelligence Analysis Squadron (IAS) INDOPACOM/SOUTHCOM Force Design Force Design (IND) flight performing integrated analysis of adversary space and counterspace future technologies. This position is responsible for leading the analysis of the Future Technologies (FT) Team within NSIC/3IAS/IND. FT has 3IAS' primary responsibility for analyzing emerging and disruptive technology applications to the space domain, and evaluating the RDA process of foreign space systems and counterspace weapons within the AOR. FT's analysis should complement the flight's other two teams analyzing space industrial capacity and processes; and holistic analysis of programs, perceptions of the US and allies, and adversary influence analysis. All three teams share responsibilities for wargame support and will provide leadership/persona/behavioral analysis dependent on the foreign individual's position and expertise. PFD's cumulative analyses shape NSIC's ability to evaluate foreign force design for customers in the warfighter, policy-maker, and acquisition realms. This position requires knowledge of ICDs 203, 206, and 208. Strong communication, collaboration, and team-building attributes are essential. An established track record working with collection partners is preferred. Ideal Candidate: Ideal candidates will possess skills applying analytical and evaluative techniques to identify, investigate, and resolve complex issues or problems. Ideal candidates will possess relevant professional expertise, training, and educational degrees in international affairs, intelligence studies, a STEM degree, and/or have experience analyzing disruptive technologies and/or research, design, and acquisition processes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Knowledge of the full range of intelligence research and collection methods, techniques, and practices to use multi-source intelligence information systems to capture data in order to make recommendations in developing intelligence capabilities and threat assessments to interpret policy and commit resources 2. Knowledge of advanced analytical principles, concepts, and methods to produce detailed analyses of complex information/situations attained from multiple sources. 3. Knowledge of the national intelligence community, Joint, DoD structure, organizations, and mission/functions, interrelationship and operation. 4. Knowledge and skill in the analysis of worldwide counterspace, and in regional/cultural/political influences on foreign counterspace program, doctrine, strategy, intent and perceptions. 5. Skill in conducting unbiased complex research, identifying appropriate available systems/data sources and producing collection requirement assessments that answer specific tasks to link and leverage agency capabilities in support of consumers, customers, and clients. 6. Skill in communicating effectively with others, both orally and in writing, in working out solutions to problems or questions related to the work, writing clear and concise intelligence products, and delivering written and/or verbal presentations to senior level audiences for decision-making purposes. Requirements Conditions of employment Must be a U.S Citizen. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret / SCI security clearance. May be required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise. Eligible for situational telework only, including Emergency and OPM prescribed "unscheduled telework". May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis. May be required to travel by military or commercial aircraft in the performance of TDY assignments. This position will close after 5 business days or 75 applications, whichever comes first. PCS funding is authorized. Subject to Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY): Approximately 15 days per year. A bachelor's degree or coursework in strategic intelligence, space studies, international affairs, and/or regional studies is highly desired. This position has been designated for drug testing. Incumbent is subject to random urinalysis testing as a condition of employment. Qualifications The 0132 series does not have an individual occupational requirement that must be met.
