Summary Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! Duties What to Expect Creates electronically engraved items, professional silk-screen items and vinyl banners from conceptual design stage to finished product. Operates design equipment such as computer, plotter, scanner, and related graphic arts software programs to create logos, camera-ready artwork for silk screen items, and preparation of engraved items. Sets up all equipment for operation, services equipment by performing routine maintenance, keeps equipment clean and in safe condition.  Prepares orders for all customers, delivers finished products, collects payment according to established cash handling procedures, maintains inventories of required supplies and prepares/processes all required purchasing and accounting reports.  Work is often performed in tiring, awkward and uncomfortable positions. Frequent standing, bending and stooping. Lifts and carries objects up to 45 lbs independently and objects over 45 lbs with assistance. Exposed to noise of electronic equipment and power tools. Possibility of cuts. Fumes and ink solvent may cause chemical irritations, must wear protective gear when required.  Performs other related duties as assigned. Must have the ability to operate electronic engraving equipment.  Must have the ability to calculate proper settings for multiple engraving surfaces.  Must have the ability expose screens and register multicolor work, establish proper sequence and arrange/align design pallets. Must have experience in computer graphics, and eye for detail, and must be well versed in grammar, punctuation and spelling.   Performs work with skill and precision and attention to minute details.   Sound customer relations is paramount.
