Job Description:

The Account Executive is accountable for delivery ofretail sales per door and corporate goals through management of a team of coordinators,beauty advisors, and retail sales specialists. The Account Executive will alsobe responsible for building & maintaining store-level relationships toimprove partnership and delivery of brand goals.

Leadership and Development

  • Attract, retain, & develop talent in alignment withbrand goals/talent needs
  • Coordinators, Beauty Advisors, and Retail Sales Specialists
  • Provide in the moment coaching & development forselling teams

Business Analysis, Strategy and Budgeting

  • Build and maintain relationships with local retailers& store leaders to align priorities, strategize & problem solve; leadand prepare retailer presentations
  • Retail Sales Specialistbudgets (ex: ROI) to deliver against brand strategies & targets; monitor& adjust based on business performance
  • Identify opportunity areas (e.g.,growth/under-penetration) and develop door strategy business case to shift orincrease investment
  • Analyze daily, monthly and seasonal brand and brandcompetitor performance within territory to inform strategies
  • Schedule call cycle visits based on door count/assessment

In Store Planning and Execution

  • Identify and ideate opportunities for innovation withinlocal market; act with an entrepreneurial mindset to grow brand business andvolume
  • Manage the planning and execution needs of each retailstore, overseeing visual weeks, seasonal & visual week events and productlaunches (note: AEs to spend 80% of time in field)
  • Lead strategic planning, negotiating and sales executionof all in store events for territory and top brand beauty and fragrance doors

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree and minimum of 3 years experience incosmetic or retail management
  • Self-motivated, results oriented, and a creative thinker
  • Strong communication, presentation and organizationalskills
  • Analytical in approach to identifying opportunities
  • Proven experience in motivating and training sales staff
  • Proficient computer skills necessary - Microsoft Office(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, TEAMS)

Judgmentand Decision Making

Supervisionfor the Account Executive position is intermittent. AE will maintain regularcommunication with the Regional Sales Director through e-mail and phone asneeded.

Essential Physical Requirements

Abilityto lift and carry 50 pounds.

Financial Scope

-AnnualBudget Responsibility: personal T&E budget, freelance budget, trainingbudgets, ISD budgets.

-Annual Revenue Responsibility: this willdepend based on the volume of the territory

EssentialDuties and Responsibilities

1. In-storeseasonal planning and execution - 15%

Coordinateseasonal events for national accounts. Plan and negotiate product launches withstore manager, department manager and account management. (District Merchants,Regional Merchandise Managers, Visual Managers, Regional Cosmetic Managers,Directors of Stores) to ensure maximum visual effect and sales performance.Plan, communicate and execute all in-store events.

2. Business Analysis - 10%

Responsiblefor daily, monthly and seasonal tracking of total retail performance withinterritory. Must maintain knowledge of the trends of individual businesssegments and all of the key business drivers within each segment. Monitorcompetitive activity and competitive retail performance within fragrance/beautydepartment. Ensure that market share objectives are being met.

3. Meetings and Presentations - 5%

Prepareand carry out seasonal retailer presentations. Participate in and/or organizeregional retailer strategy meetings.

4. Maintain counter quality andmerchandising - 5%

Monitorcleanliness of the counter stock and display units and hold beauty advisorsaccountable for counter quality requirements. Execute and maintain allmerchandising standards.

5. Maintain budget - 5%

Maintainseasonal freelance budget, including sourcing freelancers, booking forappropriate events and executing their payments within the seasonal budget.Process T&E in a timely manner and within 5% the guidelines.

6. Communication- 5%

Weekly communication with Regional Sales Director regarding businessperformance & stock conditions. Communication with store managementregarding event performance, retail opportunities and training.

7. Monitoring of Stock -5%

Work with Planning team to identify opportunities with stocklevels. Communicate stock needs/concerns and track incoming shipments to ensuretimely arrival in store.

8. Training and Development -30%

Coach Beauty Advisors and Retail Sales Specialists to increase sales by makingsure s/he is fulfilling all the responsibilities. Teach Beauty Advisors & Retail Sales Specialists how to maximize productivity bydeveloping selling skills, customer service skills, booking events and productdemonstration.

9. Sourcing/hiring/talent assessment-15%

Consistently source and interview candidates for Beauty Advisor & Retail Sales Specialist positions. Assure we have the best talentbased on brand goal achievement, productivity (SPH, IPT, and AUS), sellingskills, client registry level and quality, customer service, etc. Maintainaccurate records on Demo system to reflect correct staffing in stores with Demoarrangements.

10. Social Media -5%

AE to build their own social profile through organic contentand reposting of corporate content a minimum of 3x a week.

Development of RSS/Specialist on their social channels,providing assets, #tags & calendar to post
