Accountant

Waverly Heights, a premier senior living community located in Gladwyne, PA is currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant to join our Business Office team. This full-time, on-site role plays a key part in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization by supporting various accounting and reporting functions. Responsibilities Include: • Perform a multitude of monthly bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and support audited financials. • Record deposits and payments for multiple entities. • Prepare and post monthly journal entries. • Create and maintain financial analysis and reports for internal use. • Assist in the preparation and development of annual labor, expense, and capital budgets. • Provide support for various external and internal audits. • Collaborate with other departments to support business office operations and improve processes as needed. • Support all other business office functions as needed. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required. • Solid understanding of basic Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). • Experience with Microsoft Office software, and a strong proficiency in MS Excel is a must. • Experience with Quickbooks preferred. • High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. • Excellent verbal and written communications skills • The motivation and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
