Accounting Manager- (Hybrid - Flexible Options)

We are actively seeking a Manager of Accounting to join our Global Technology and Operations ("GTO") segment accounting team and reporting into the GTO US Controller. This role supports the accounting and financial reporting for Itiviti's US operations. You will work closely with the Itiviti accounting teams in Romania, Sweden and UK on all accounting aspects of the monthly book close including: related process, policies, procedures, systems, compliance, controls and reporting. You would also be responsible for revenue recognition, reconciling accounts, post journal entries, and maintaining a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with accounting principles and reporting schedules so that the organization has a full and accurate statement of its financial position.

Responsibilities:

• Use proficient knowledge of applicable financial principles and concepts, and U.S. GAAP to perform activities such as monthly closing and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Application of key accounting policies relating to revenue recognition and cost deferrals, including consultation with corporate policy team as needed.
• Ensure timely monthly close of various businesses including analysis, posting of entries and review of results.
• Lead various special projects.
• Maintain internal controls as required by SOX and suggest control improvements.
• Partner with Centers of Excellence ("COE") for billing, project accounting, payroll and payables to ensure proper accounting for monthly close.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial package for management, special analyses and reports for user departments, high risk P&L account reconciliations.
• Collaborate with FP&A teams globally (primarily US and UK) to develop an understanding of the business and interpret results.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in audit and/or general accounting
• CPA preferred
• The ability to develop strong, collaborative relationships, fostering teamwork and gaining the confidence and trust of others;
• Experience of handling multiple demands and competing priorities
• Good Excel skills a minimum requirement (e.g. competent in the use of pivots/vlookups etc.)
• Experience with using Accounting software packages (Oracle and NetSuite ideal but not essential).
