Accounts Receivable Accountant

Job Description: The Accounts Receivable Accountant is responsible for issuing customer invoices, recording and applying incoming payments, monitoring receivables aging, following up with customers on overdue payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. Responsibilities:  Prepare and issue accurate and timely customer invoices in accordance with the Company’s policies and contractual terms  Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up proactively with customers to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances  Maintain detailed records of billing activities, payment status, and collection efforts  Resolve billing discrepancies and support customer inquiries  Process incoming payments, reconcile customer accounts, and maintain accurate accounts receivables records  Assist in streamlining the accounts receivable process by identifying areas for performance improvement  Support month-end and year-end closing activities in relation to revenue and receivables  Ensure adherence to company policies and financial regulations  Support internal and external reviews and audits by preparing necessary analysis and providing supporting documentation in relation to revenue and receivables Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)  At least 2 years of related experience required  Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems  Excellent verbal communication skills  Detail-oriented and accurate, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid sick time • Paid time off • Vision insurance Application Question(s): • Will you require sponsorship in the future?
