As a Machinist, you’ll work with state-of-the-art equipment, manufacturing aerospace products that include hydraulic actuators, valves, and more. With over 240 professionals on board, we’re leading the way in aerospace systems and MRO services.
Position Details
• Shift: 3rd Shift | Sunday - Thursday | 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
• Pay: $25.00/hr to $30.00/hr + 15% shift differential (commensurate with experience).
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Machinist, you will independently perform complex precision machining operations using CNC or manual-controlled tools to produce high-quality aerospace components.
Your daily tasks will include:
• Setting up and operating CNC and manually controlled machines such as lathes, milling machines, precision grinders, and gun drills.
• Utilizing machinist’s hand tools and precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and quality requirements.
• Making standard shop computations related to dimensions and tooling.
• Monitoring and verifying part quality, making necessary adjustments to machine controls.
• Following manufacturing schedules and procedures to meet production deadlines.
• Collaborating with support teams and cell leaders to resolve production challenges.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and participating in risk mitigation efforts.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives like FOD, 5S, TPM, and process enhancement programs.
• Training others on job tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For: We’re seeking candidates with strong technical skills and a passion for precision. Here’s what you’ll need:
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Two-year technical degree in a related field (preferred).Level 2 Machinist
• 3+ years of experience running and setting up manually controlled machine tools.
• 1+ year of experience with multi-axis CNC machine tools.Level 3 Machinist
• 7+ years of experience running and setting up manually controlled machine tools.
• 5+ years of experience with multi-axis CNC machine tools.Demonstrated Experience
• Precision measuring tools, gauges, and inspection devices.
• Reading and interpreting part drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
• Shop math and machine troubleshooting.
• Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and waste reduction concepts.
