We are a growing ecosystem of fully integrated digital banking solutions designed by and for credit unions. We’re looking for an AI Engineer passionate about building smart scalable and efficient AI-powered systems that transform the future of cooperative banking.

About the Job

You will develop and maintain AI-powered features and products within Blossom’s banking ecosystem focusing on integrating commercial AI models through AWS Bedrock while building internal AI tools and automation systems.

Your work will include:

• Designing and developing APIs for AI services and integrations.

• Implementing and optimizing models from Claude OpenAI and AWS Titan .

• Building agent-to-agent communication systems (MCP Agents).

• Developing internal tools that boost team productivity through AI.

• Validating and testing model performance and system integration end-to-end.

• Leading automated testing and monitoring of AI models in production.

• Rapidly prototyping new AI concepts (POCs) and evaluating emerging technologies.

• Contributing to documentation knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across teams.

This role combines technical excellence curiosity and collaboration offering the opportunity to help shape AI innovation for the financial sector.

Requirements

Education: Professional in systems engineering computer science statistics mathematics or related fields.

English: Basic to intermediate level.

Experience:

• 3+ years in software development (preferably with Python JavaScript or TypeScript ).

• 1+ year working with AI/ML technologies (preferred).

• Familiarity with AWS services (EC2 Lambda API Gateway).

• Experience in financial services or fintech (preferred).

• Strong foundation in automated testing and quality assurance .

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and willingness to learn emerging tools.

• Experience with Git collaborative workflows and testing frameworks (unit integration automation).

• Understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies.
