**US VETERAN CANDIDATES ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO APPLY** Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be career-minded, motivated and posses either 5 years of aircraft painting experience OR 10+ years of automotive painting experience. This is a long-term, permanent career opportunity NOT a short-term contract. Duties β€’ Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer to aircraft exterior and interior as needed. β€’ Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment is stored properly after use. β€’ Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards. β€’ Conduct regular inspections of completed work to ensure adherence to specifications and quality expectations. β€’ Follow safety protocols at all times, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Requirements: β€’ 5+ years of proven experience as an aircraft painter OR 10+ years of proven experience as an automotive painter is required. β€’ Must be able to pass a drug screen β€’ Must be able to pass a background check β€’ Must be able to commute to or relocate to Philadelphia, PA. β€’ Basic tools are required β€’ Must be able to start work within 3 weeks of submitting resume β€’ Must be able to work assigned shift**2nd shift is the only available shift at this location currently**( 5/8 shifts. 2nd shift 3:30pm – 12:00am - LOTS of Overtime available) Details: β€’ Compensation: $25-$35/hr (DOE) β€’ Tax Free Per Diem available to those who qualify β€’ Interview Process:Phone/virtual/on-site interview. (Open to any type of interview for those who would be relocating, but local candidates will need to attend an on-site interview. Expect 2-5 days for scheduling and feedback will be immediately following interview. β€’ Onboarding– 1 day of orientation (Safety Training). Be ready to hit the ground running. β€’ MUST BRING TOOLS FIRST DAY! β€’ Dress Code:Environment appropriate attire. Aviation Personnel Shirt or solid color plain shirt with no logos and closed toe shoes on first day.(We will send out our company shirts).
