With $320bn+ in advisory and discretionary assets, Alternative Investments and Manager Selection ("AIMS") AIMS serves both institutional and high net worth clients and focusses on investing in Private Equity, Hedge Funds and Long Only asset classes.

AIMS Technology team is looking for talented full-stack engineers to work on all technical aspects of the end to end investment lifecycle including Investment Sourcing, Investment Analysis, Execution, Portfolio Management, Trading and Risk Analytics. As a member of our team, you'll have the chance to work with other highly talented and motivated engineers and investment professionals across geographies and build next generation systems to fuel the firm's Alternative and Traditional investments.

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with investment professionals to understand the full scope of the project and document the requirements.
• Propose design/architecture to the team and/or the users.
• Collaborate with global team members and stakeholders to agree upon a desirable solution
• Write robust, well tested code either working independently or in a group.
• Complete the lifecycle by deploying software to production and work with the Frontline team to put in place a support framework for the newly deployed software.
• Comfortable to pick up projects requiring full-stack development.
• Coach/mentor junior employees.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors of Science or higher in Computer Science or a related field & 5-10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in: Java, Javascript/Typescript, Angular.
• Experience of working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proven communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as a self-starter and collaborate in a team environment.
• Experience in a Financial services firm is a plus, but not required.
• Experience with a Fund of Funds complex is a plus, but not required.
