Position Introduction/Key Duties

Cimarron is seeking an Analysis, Integration and Test (AI&T) Engineer to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on an Electro-Optical (EO) / Infra-Red (IR) Mission Systems team in Huntington Beach, CA. The selected candidate for this position will support the development of space and airborne payloads for optical sensing systems.

This is an onsite position.

Key Duties:

• Lead the integration of electro-optical and infrared (EO/IR) components into spacecraft systems, ensuring seamless functionality and compatibility.
• Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive test plans to validate the performance and reliability of EO/IR systems under various environmental conditions.
• Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative engineering environment.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues during the assembly, integration, and testing phases, utilizing advanced problem-solving skills and methodologies.
• Ensure all assembly, integration, and test activities are thoroughly documented and comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and program specifications.

Required/Desired Skills, Experience, and Education

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance (or higher).
• 5 or more years of SEIT experience.
• In-depth experience working in a test laboratory.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry from an accredited course of study.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Active Secret Clearance or higher.
• Experience working as a Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineer.
• 10 or more years of related experience.
