In this role you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers) where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
As an Architect in IBM Consulting you'll serve as a leader in defining solutions for clients. You'll be the advocate for the client while guiding the technical team to implementation.
You'll collaborate with client stakeholders and internal partners to understand the business problem and requirements constraints of the system and concerns of the various stakeholders to systematically transform detailed solutions (architectures) for the client.
Your primary responsibilities include:
• Strategic Solutions Design for S/4 HANA Implementation: Design and configure solutions for S/4 HANA implementations and migrations by using an agile framework.
• Knowledge Sharing and Best Practice Advocacy: Share technical inputs and best practices to the delivery team to conduct successful outcomes for our clients.
• Customer-Centric Implementation Enhancement: Communicate with customers to understand their needs and customize a plan to take their implementations to the next level.
- Minimum of 12 years relevant experience in experience in Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) in SAP S/4 HANA with BTP and CAP experience.
- Design Scalable Solutions: Translate functional requirements into robust modular and future-proof ABAP designs.
- Enforce Development Standards: Define and govern coding guidelines naming conventions and quality checks using ATC/SCI.
- Lead Custom Code Strategy: Manage WRICEF lifecycle custom code optimization and clean core alignment.
- Collaborate & Guide Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams and mentor developers across delivery streams.
- Drive Modernization: Promote use of CDS RAP Fiori and modern ABAP practices to support digital transformation.
- Strong analytical skills ability to perform system analysis and draw conclusions by relating information from different sources including root-cause analysis and issue resolution

- Minimum 12 years of Industry experience in SAP space Proven work experience in 3-4 full cycle implementation in SAP ABAP HANA projects.
- Experience in working in Implementation Consulting Client interaction Upgrade Maintenance and Post Production support projects would be an advantage
- Understanding of SAP functional requirement conversion into Technical design and development using ABAP Language for Report Interface Conversion Enhancement and Forms in implementation or support projects
