The Opportunity
Doodle Labs is hiring an Application Engineer (AE) in Ukraine to support next-gen wireless networking solutions for our customers and conduct field testing to inform our product development for critical solutions, like our anti-jamming technology, Sense. The AE will work with a Business Development Lead to successfully conduct demos of our radios, support our customers in their demos, and provide design-in support for new and ongoing projects.

Key Objectives:

• Ensure customer success with our radios, including full use of advanced capabilities that are critical to success on the battlefield.

• Conduct field testing, as well as collecting and documenting customer feedback and requirements in Ukraine to help drive product roadmap.

Scope of Work:

• Support pre-sales conversations with potential drone customers in Ukraine, which includes articulating the capabilities of Doodle Labs' technology, system planning, integration support, and system optimization

• Provide post-sales technical support, and provide feedback to the development team.

• Visit customer sites to provide technical support and deliver training in the field.

• Write application notes and support documentation for innovative reference designs.

• Help drive product roadmap by conducting field testing, as well as collecting and documenting customer feedback and requirements in Ukraine.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Knowledge of wireless communication systems, RF signal propagation, and digital communication technologies.

• Significant networking expertise with IP radios and TCP/IP protocol ( OpenWrt is a huge plus).

• Experience deploying, operating , and testing WiFi -based mesh networks.

• Experience working in a Linux networking environment.

• Excellent organization skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or related field or similar experience.

• 5+ years experience preferred.
