Architect, IT (Cloud) - Remote

Position Purpose: Develop and drive the standards, development processes, systems architecture, and design patterns to support IT and business solutions

Architecture Design (creation, socialization, and maintenance) for data, reporting, and analytics solutions.

Innovation (including technology assessment), and pattern definitions in support of share services and capabilities in data management space

Data and architecture governance - collaboration, process/solution support, etc.

Responsible for overall systems design and architecture, including new solutions and patterns• Collaborate with business users and stakeholders through design and implementation, including needs analysis and system requirements• Define and refine methodology and standards for setup, design and implementation of the application or technology to meet the needs of the business and IT customers• Generate detailed system requirements with cost projections, cost benefit analysis and ROI• Train and mentor IT team

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field, or equivalent experience

5+ years of relevant design and architecture experience

IT experience within managed care environment highly preferred

Demonstrated understanding of business process as it relates to experience in the field.

Ability to apply knowledge and experiences in key technologies - including AWS, Snowflake, Teradata, Power BI and overall Data and Analytics - in support of the Enterprise Data and Analytics department solutions.

Hoping the candidate has most of the following skills and experience:

Prior experience in Cloud (AWS, AZURE), Snowflake and Power BI - corresponding certifications are desirable

Prior IT Architecture background in Data Management - Data Warehousing, Analytics and Business Intelligence

Prior Health Care / Health Insurance background - prefer with payer organization such as Centene (e.g. United Health Group, Anthem, Cigna, Humana, etc.)

Prior experience with tools and technologies supporting analytics, Python, gitlab, other?

Prior Solution Architecture experience (desirable)

TOGAF or other Architecture Framework certification (desirable)
