Job Description

Job Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Dallas, Texas. Responsible for a spectrum of loan assets and associated financial products including agency/non-agency new originations, non-performing/re-performing loans, investor loans, single family rental, manufactured housing, second liens, iBuyer, bridge loans, and mortgage servicing rights. Responsible for sourcing, structuring, and marketing of securitizations which are broadly marketed and sold to institutional investors. Responsible for warehouse and term financings, principal transactions, advisory assignments, and collaborating with colleagues across Trading, Sales and/or Investment Banking on transactions and client relationship management. Involved with client engagement on an on-going basis, including sourcing new opportunities, execution of live deals, and managing existing client relationships. Evaluate and execute warehouse and term financings, securitizations, and investment opportunities, which include market research, on-site evaluation, analytical risk-based modeling and asset valuation work, and assessment of legal, regulatory compliance and other risks. Engage with rating agencies to evaluate transactions. Review and negotiate underlying deal documentation and conduct transaction structuring.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Financial Engineering or related quantitative field. Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include three (3) years with: working in fixed income capital markets and mortgage-backed securities; working with at least one of the residential mortgage products: non-agency new originations, non-qualified mortgage loans, non-performing loans, re-performing loans, investor loans, and mortgage servicing rights; performing quantitative analysis using cash flow modeling and asset valuation for mortgages and bond structures; conducting mortgage collateral analysis utilizing quantitative modeling including prepayment and default analysis; analyzing mortgage pricing efficiently utilizing Microsoft Excel to determine loan pricing and present findings to senior traders and bankers; working with Microsoft Excel including using VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, What-If Analysis, and using pivot tables to summarize and analyze data; and using CAS, Microsoft Excel, Intex DealMaker, Intex Calc, and Bloomberg Terminal. SIE, Series 7, Series 63 and Series 79 within 3 months after joining.
